Kristy Hicks, School Counselor
Hello Harmony Families! My name is Kristy Hicks. I am excited to be serving as one of the school counselors at Harmony Elementary. I have been a Husky since 2013, serving as a special class teacher and then ARC chair for Harmony and North Oldham Middle school.
I have been in elementary education for 13 years. I earned my undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University in elementary education and learning and behavior disorders for K-12. I recently completed my master’s degree in School Counselor. During my time teaching, I have been a K-5 special education teacher, a K-5 special class teacher for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, and a K-5 special class teacher for students with autism.
I grew up and attended elementary through high school in Oldham County. I currently live in Louisville with my husband Matt, son Logan, and dog Luna. In my downtime, I love to hang out with my husband, son, and dog. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and reading.
It is an honor to be part of the Harmony family. I look forward to partnering with you and ensuring a great educational experience for you and your child. Please reach out with any questions, concerns, or if there is anything I can do to assist you and your child.
