Library Media Specialist/School Technology Coordinator, Jessica Bailey
Jessica Bailey began her teaching journey at Harmony Elementary School in 2008, where she taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade, cherishing every moment. In August 2019, she transitioned to the role of Library Media Specialist (LMS) and School Technology Coordinator (STC) for Harmony.
Jessica grew up in Oldham County and is an alumna of Centerfield Elementary School and Oldham County High School.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Bellarmine University and a Master's in Teaching in Waldorf Education, also from Bellarmine. In 2021, Jessica earned her Master's in Library Media Education from Murray State University. She achieved National Board Certification for Teaching in Literacy Education in both 2013 and 2023.
Jessica has been married for ten years and has one son who is a proud Harmony Husky, with another son on the way. The family resides in Oldham County. Outside of school, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, swimming, and traveling. Her hobbies include reading and scrapbooking.
