Library Media Specialist/School Technology Coordinator, Jessica Bailey
I started my teaching journey at Harmony Elementary School in 2008. I taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade... and loved every minute of it! In August of 2019, I was hired to be the new Library Media Specialist (LMS) and School Technology Coordinator (STC) for Harmony.
I grew up in Oldham County and attended Centerfield Elementary School and Oldham County High School.
I graduated from Bellarmine University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and earned my Master's in Teaching from Bellarmine in Waldorf Education. I earned my master's in Library Media Education from Murray State University in 2021. In 2013, I received my National Board Certification for Teaching in Literacy Education.
I have been married for eight wonderful years to my husband Mac, who also happens to be my best friend, and we have an amazing son. We live in Oldham County. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and traveling. My hobbies include reading and scrapbooking.
